Rental and access

Duration, unit sizes, access hours and how self storage works.

What is the minimum storage period?

The minimum storage period is one month. If you're looking for a shorter-term solution, contact our team and we'll put together a custom option for you.

What unit sizes do you offer?

We offer many different sizes to fit whatever you need to store: from modest spaces for your camping gear up to a full four-bedroom house. Our sizes range from 5' x 5' to 10' x 20'. Contact our qualified team to learn more.

What access do we have to our unit(s)?

Your access hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. We are closed Sundays and holidays.

Do you have a key to my unit?

No. Self storage means filling your unit with your personal belongings, locking it with your own padlock and keeping the key. Facility employees do not have access to your storage space.

If we run out of space, what are our options?

If you run out of space, you can either move your belongings into a larger unit or rent a second storage unit in your name. For the new unit, you'll need to sign a new storage agreement.

Security

What we do to protect your belongings.

Is the facility secure?

We do everything we can to keep your belongings as safe as they'd be at home. Our warehouse has a coded access system for entry and exit through the main door, along with video surveillance and an alarm system running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What shouldn't be stored?

While we accept a wide variety of items, we don't recommend storing certain things that can affect the cleanliness or safety of our units, including: food, anything perishable, flammable products, paint, and more. Also note that we only accept mattresses covered with a sealed protective bag.

Pricing, contract and billing

How pricing is determined and how monthly billing works.

How much does a unit cost?

We believe you should only pay for what you need. Our storage professionals choose the best unit for you by reviewing your timeline and the belongings you want to keep safe. The price of your storage space is determined by the amount of space you need.

Why do I have to sign a storage agreement?

The storage agreement sets out the terms of the relationship between the storage manager and the tenant, along with the rights and obligations of each party.

How does billing work?

We operate on a monthly renewable contract: rent is due on the 1st of each month, which means you'll be billed automatically for the 1st. We send you your invoice about two weeks before the due date.

Insurance

What storage insurance covers.

What does storage insurance cover?

In addition to protecting your belongings against theft while in storage, most storage insurance policies cover the following: smoke and fire damage; water damage caused by storms, flooding or sprinklers; vandalism or malicious behaviour; theft or attempted theft; damage caused by subsidence; and damage caused by insects or vermin.
